Course Curriculum Overview

I am of btech. Cse Aiml department i like my selected stream i am happy to choose it as my career. Semester exam is conducted nicely you just need to concentrate to your classes otherwise it would be little bit difficult

Class Size: 97Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted for btech cse ai my.Fees is around. 79000 i am of 2023 batch. You can also apply for loan. Which is very easy ,just go to the administrator office of college they will help you you you you .

Campus Life

Seniors are good unless and until you mess up with them . The college run many clubs which you can be the part of any club some are useless and some are of waste if time ,you can give it a try which will be beneficial for you.

Admission

There are others colleges too which applied for like some famous colleges in bangalore, Mumbai. But at the end i selected techno india university because it's closer to my hometown . I have selected through WBJEEE exam

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good Faculty to student relationship are of good student and good teacher. You can approach any Faculty of you particular subject ,teachers are cooperative. The semester are conducted very nicely

Night Life

This techno india university does not have its own hostel they have tie up with a private hostel.. around the techno india university there are many more things to do you can visit many places like malls ,museum

Placement are average like any other private colleges. Don't expect too much. Average package is like 5 lpa .But since it is in saltlake which is the it hub of North East we have plenty of options to apply for offcampus of no placement is given in college.

Placement Experience:

The college has a very professional Training and Placement committee. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro visit the college for placement. My department (ECE) has an average of 7LPA. Last year the highest pakage was 85 LPA which was secured by one of our esteemed seniors in JP Morgan Chase. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon also visit our college for placements. The only disadvantage is maximum of these companies are visiting for mass recruit profiles. I plan to go for an MS in USA after securing my degree.

The college lowdown

Placement Experience:

From 6th and 7th Semester students get eligible for campus placements. The companies that visit are TCS,. Cognizant, Dell, intel, Amazon, Microsoft, McAfee, Hp etc 70% plus gets placed every year. Students must maintain a cgpa above 7 to be eligible for campus placements. After getting a degree I want to develop my career as a software engineer and product manager.

Survival Guide of NIT Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Placements at NIT Durgapur are phenomenal. Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester onwards. Some of the visiting companies include Microsoft, Apple, and JPMC. They offer attractive packages to students, with the highest placement being 50 LPA. The average placement for all the students is around 11LPA. For branches like CSE, ECE and EEE, the average is consistently above 16-17 LPA. The placement percentage is around 80% for CSE students. My plans after getting the degree will be to work in the industry for 1-2 years and then proceed to higher studies abroad.

From Classrooms to Careers

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There have been quite a few companies that have visited the campus like Nutanix, Accenture, Deloitte, EY GDS, IBM, etc. Variable packages ranging from 4-11lpa have been offered. Till now the percentage of students getting placements is relatively low.

I applied to Techno Internation New Town and got a confirmed admission in IT branch. As i was not intrested in pursuing that branch so i took up this college to pursue core CSE. During counselling for WBJEE i got rejected from many colleges becaus my rank was not that great.
