washrooms are not well maintained, they need to be cleaned

Course Curriculum Overview

Engineer is my passion so wanted to learn about Electricity. Faculty members are good and lots of students learn under the same floor. Teachers are all of Maters and P.hd. scholars. Term exams have standard questions.

Internships Opportunities

almost every month we get internship from college from many ompanies they all are really very good they are even giving jobs to us if we have did very good in our internships they are helping us in making heavy to light projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is around rs. 85000 per semester. Scholarship, internship, and other financial assistances are provided by IEM. Cost to study is above average. it provides loans to students, with financial problems.

Campus Life

the campas life is very good.their are so many flowers so many events in it.Many sports activities take place here.kerate also happens here.teachers are very good here. they always support us.everything is good here.

Hostel Facilities

roooms are very good . in one room their are 4 to 6 people with fans and lights with every bed.food is also good here.no one disturbs here. everytime warden comes to check us.they are very good like mother.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Admission process was through Iem Jee. Process was seemless & good. Exam can be given after 12th class. After 12, forms are issed by the college, no fees, dates are issed by college. Exam was held in centers near home.

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
