Course Curriculum Overview

I choose ECE because it is an evergreen branch. The faculty-students ratio is much not different. It is approximately 1:20. Most of the faculties are MTech and Ph.D. holders. This college run under MAKAUT university. Besides this, a few internal exams are held in this college.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Renowned companies are offered internship at this college. In the 3rd year, students are offered internships. In the final year, there is a project for all the students. The project is much much important to get a job.

Placement Experience

After completing the 6th sem a student becomes eligible for campus placements. Basically, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, KPIT, Presistent System there are lots of companies are visited on the campus of this college. The hihest package is 10 lakh per annum and the average package is more or less 4 lakh pew annum. 90% of the students are getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is approximately 4.5 lakh. So, studying at this college is not much costly because it is situated outside of kolkata. This college approved government scholarship(SVMCM). Most of the students get a job in campus placement.

Campus Life

Only one fest is conducted in this college. The fest is generally named"ARCADIA". Basically, in April it is held. In this year Armaan Malik was called. There are a huge collection of books are available in the library. The classrooms are looking very beautiful and they are nicely decorated. Students are played various games like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to attempt Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE) , JEE Mains and pass it with a good rank. I found the application form on a college campus. I took admitted in the year 2022. At this time , our application fee is 72,500.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
