Attendance: You need to maintain an attendance more than 75% to be eligible to get appeared for the semester exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here in my college, the best faculty for all the streams. Our department all teachers are good. But some of them is very rude. If you are a good student they will help you out. There is about a 35:65 ratio of girls over boys in this branch.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provides internship programs to the students. Presistent System provides Martian prigrams and GEMS peogram. Cognizant and KPIT provides in-office internships. Every student needs to do a final year project and some persnal projects to get placed in different companies.

Placement Experience

The overall placements of our college are excellent. All the students of all stream got placed in several companies. Most people received more than 2 offers. TCS, Cognizant, KPIT, Presistent System, Trianz, Wipro and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it located in West Bengal, so it is not costly as other providing the same course. It has an affordable fee of about 4.5 lakhs. West Bengal government provides several scholarship programs. Students got an internship in their 3rd year.

Campus Life

It has a lively life on campus. It has a great football and cricket ground, 1 basketball court, 1 badminton court, 1 vollyball court. There is greenary all over the campus. It has a big library located in A Block. Arcadia is the annual fest which is organized by the college. This year Armaan Malik was called.

Admission

You need to crack the webjee or jee mains with valid score and rank and there is no eligibility for 12th percentage. When the wbjee portal is open for registration you need to fill the form and give wbjee exam and the same true for jee mains reservation is available here.

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More
