Course Curriculum Overview
Since it is a government college, all the faculties are very high qualified. Most of them are WBES/IES officers (Education service). They also give students advise the students if needed. Overall the teachers are co ordinating.
Placement Experience
The placement depends upon the qualification upon the students . It totally and solely dependent upon how the candidate present themselves in the interview . Last year big 4 had a placement drive in the college and the average package offered ranged between 5 lakh to 8 lakh p.a.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is not only relative but really very low . It is 825 rupees a semester or year. Beacuse it is a fully aided government college . The college helps students in getting different scholarships such as SVMCM scholarship, the college has also spread awareness of the students credit card scheme launched by the west Bengal government.
Campus Life
The campus life is really the worth to remember. Not only you will make friends but you will be making friends who are meritorious, beacuse most of them are the toppers of their school. The college has a carrom room, a tennis table room, students also play cricket in the college background. A students gym is also in the college. Overall the college campus is decent in size and has Multiple things to offer
Admission
If one is from general category like I am . To be on the safer side and to get into the college in its early admission drive more than 94% in best 4 is enough. However if you are like 91-92% you can get into it but your admission is dependent upon the no. Of vacant seats released in that year. The college is overall very good , it is one of the most reputed colleges of Kolkata. Probably the dream College of many especially of the non maths background. They organise annual fest every year, in addition to it few events are also organised. The seniors , faculty of the college are very coordinating . Overall the college is very good.
