Likes

Stationery in our college and readily available to get photocopies and other stationary.
Mother dairy stall to get fresh dairy products
Auditorium is spacious and comfortable seats.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is little old and new building is not opening
No cleanliness in the canteen and dirty seats there
Should increase seating capacity in Library

Course Curriculum Overview

Mine was Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Day) . In physical science with chemistry. The teachers are cooperative and can help you through the problems. The maths faculty is a little bit unbalanced for the bsc programme.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is hiked from 12k to 14k and there is some scholarship. I didn't get one but my fellow mates from Kashmir were getting those. Even fee remission is also there for OBCs, SCs and STs. And there is a placement cell in our college. But on campus job is not there.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is old and new building is not inaugurated because of some fraud. Besides that everything is good. And our college is surrounded by basti. Social life is good. Clubs are there for photography, quiz, nss, ncc and 2-3 more are there.

Admission

It was merit based admission. Means 12th class overall percentage. But from 2022 onwards it is entrance exam based and you get admission from percentile cut off in CUET UG. After that you have to submit necessary documents for the admission

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
