Course Curriculum Overview

I chose electrical engineering department in this college.Many other have civil engineering department, Mechanical engineering department, Computer science department and electronic and communication department.There are 60 students are in every branch

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internship from intershala , IBM etc companies are available in the college. Wipro, TCS and many other recognised companies. Our faculty members are very appreciative for the students. Example summer project will be held in the college.

Placement Experience

From Fifth semester students are eligible for the placement. Many companies are visited in this college.Almost 80 to 90 percent students are placed in any companies.The highest package is 21 LPA and average package is 4 to 7 LPA .

Fees and Financial Aid

This college fees is very low 3000 rs per semester for electrical, civil and mechanical department and 6000 rs per semester for ECE and CSE department.There is many scholarship viz. SVMCM ,OASIS,Aikyashree etc.

Campus Life

This college infrastructure is very helpful for students specially who are belongs from village.In Library almost all books are available. There are separated section for all department. In the college cricket, vollyball, badminton etc game will be held.

Admission

Student must be passed higher secondary education from any recognised board and should be passed WBJEE exam.In WBJEE website through a councelling process student admission in this college. This college infrastructure is very good.

Interview Experience

GD/Interview/Test: None conducted by the college for general B.Tech admission. Admission Basis: WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) rank is the sole criterion. Process: Merit list is formed based on WBJEE Rank then Centralized Counseling then Document Verification at the college. Preparation: Focus entirely on scoring a high rank in the WBJEE written test.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

I applied in in the Government engineering colleges only and I cut conferred admission in this college. I choose this college over the others because I got the confirm admission in it. A brief overview of RKMGEC

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard. Other important fact to mention is that only students who are permanent resident of West Bengal can seek for admission. You need a domicile certificate for that....Read More
