Campus life is awesome and best classroom.
Teacher's are good and facilities arr best.
Placement are good and overall average number.

Dislikes

Academy life is hectic and we have to do lot of work.
Online system of payment and challen system is poor.
Mess food are bad in lunch time and dinner too.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electrical branch because it is a good branch and I alloted this branch in 1st round only. Faculty is head of ee branch and well qualified. Exam periods are bit hectic and we need to manage time and all stuff.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am first year student so still not went to internship but heard from people and student that companies are good and they give you good intersip wnd students get enroll in that and different projects.

Placement Experience

As it's iit so placement are pretty well and EE is top branch so placement are quite good and overall 90 percent of student are being placed and others after degree gonna for job line and civil services.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure are pretty well as you are Getting the top college of India and so it's worth . And it provide scholarships and other stuff and well and till yet not in job as I am 1st year student att iit.

Campus Life

The fest are kshitij which the tech fest of iit kgp and othe is spring fest which is annual fest of our campus and it's great and it's happen in month of january. Library is biggest as it's one of Asia biggest library

Hostel Facilities

Facilities are good we have a big room of 4 people inside and it's good. Meal is ok ok as breakfast is good and lunch are very poor and dinner are fine. Mess are expensive and things are not done properly.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Addimssion processs was good and jee advance alwys has a precise way to admit the students in college. And reservation benefit is also good. All the iit admission are appointed online and counselling done for different branch.

Interview Experience

4.5

There is no such interview round and any such. Student just sit for councelling and accordingly they are alloted there seat and just we get the addmission and it's simple and easy way to get the addmission through online.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Clg Review

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
