The new building which has nice classrooms
Our college ground is pretty big and has open gym ,basketball court, batminton court etc
Our college’s library, its a nice place to study

Dislikes

Washrooms of are college are pretty bad and even the flush doesn’t work
The old classroom which have old and uncomfortable benches
Admin block of our college. The service is very poor ,when its the time of taking admit card you will not get your admit card as those guys in the admin block have lost it . And then you will not be able to give exam

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted this course due my eagerness towards computer science Talking about the student teacher ratio Its pretty ok Most of the faculties are PDH's and Drs Talking about the sem exams they are easy to pass but you have to study from start so as to maintain a good CGPA and avoid end time hassale before exams

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Computer science is the most expensive course of Delhi university and the price of the course has increased, almost doubled in the past couple of years.If compared to other courses like history or polictics or hrm its pretty high.

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is called TATVA . It happens in the month of February when the semester exams has ended Library- It is good and has a hugh collection of books, the seating arrangement are good and one can have a nice long study session without any problem Talking about the classrooms -thr old building classrooms doesn't look great but the two new buildings have been made which have very nice classrooms. Our college is mostly famous for our socities which includes NSS,Mercadeo , TEB , Encrypt etc.

Admission

The person wanting to go in this college has to give CUET.The application form for CUET can be found on website of CUET UG . Talking about the application process, It should be more simplified especially the preference list part for CUET as many students who have scored very good marks but didn't got in this college due to wrong preference list .

A great learing experience- my college review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn’t get into medical college. The curriculum is not that good in my course. Practical should be more focused and research papers. Timing is just 2 hrs for core paper many students exam are left for writing in short duration

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

Placement Experience:

Placements in IGNOU are quite limited compared to regular universities. Since IGNOU is an open and distance learning university, it does not have a strong campus placement system like DU or private colleges. There is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that conducts job fairs and recruitment drives at some regional centers, but these are not very frequent and mostly depend on the location. Usually, students who are in their final year or have completed the course can apply, but there is no fixed semester rule since the system is flexible. The companies that visit are not very large in number and vary every year. Some private firms, NGOs, BPOs, insurance companies, and small IT firms have participated in the past. The roles are generally entry-level such as sales, customer support, data entry, insurance advisor, or junior IT support. There are very limited opportunities for core mathematics or research roles through placements. As far as packages are concerned, the average package is usually around ?2.5 LPA to ?4 LPA, but since IGNOU is an open university, it cannot be expected to have the same placement levels as regular colleges with full-time classes. Also, the percentage of students placed is very small because most IGNOU students are either working professionals, homemakers, or people preparing for competitive exams, so placements are not the main focus. Many students use the degree as a qualification while pursuing their own career path outside. I am currently in my 2nd year, so I do not have personal placement experience yet. The data I have mentioned here is based on internet sources and feedback from other IGNOU students. From what I have learned, placements exist but are very limited, and one should not rely only on them for career building.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for the choice of course is ofcourse personal interest also, research work in chemistry is highly interesting and also has scope in fields like chemical engineering,forensic sciences etc. The teaching methods are really good and the books prescribed are available in the libraries. The timing of exams are according to the university and is into two halves.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
