Remarks

Washrooms are not clean. Infrastructure is not so good but hostel is good for girls.But boys hostel are not good. But now it feels like home. New friends made it best part of my life.

The course is a bit tough. Not much of practical learning. No research initiatives taken by the institute.

There are no internships provided by the college . No internships no experience . Under teachers we can do internship.

Placement Experience

Average package is 3.5 to 5 lakh . Placement is good. 70% students get placed may be. Delloite infosys jugnoo etc companies visit the campus for placement.

College Events

Many technical cultural managerial fests are organized every year. Interested students can participate in them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite affordable. 70000 per annum with 5000 rs examination fee per year. But not affordable for everyone.

I don't get any scholarships but some of my friends do get scholarships. merit students also get scholarships.

There are many college clubs to handle extra curricular activities . Students can attend them and increase their capabilities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good very much affordable. Does not charge much for the hostel its 12000 oer year and food chrges are separable.

Alumni/Alumna

For alumni affairs star alumni team is available. They recruit students every year. Interested students can join team.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are frequent . Exams are very hectic. Labs are there for almost every subjct but timing for labs is not appropriate.

Faculty

Some teachers are good some are not. Eventually we have to study on our own. They don't teach the best they are just average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is mostly based on theoretical aspects as the course itself is bachelor of engineering there can be more practical aspects but the overall difficulty level is medium i would say and these are durable

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Its more than an average decent college you can surely come here.

Placement Experience:

You can appear for placements starting from 7th semester onwards plus you can apply yourself as well to various off-campus opportunities. The companies which visit are decent i would say including the likes of Amazon, Deloitte, Hero came as well few years ago for mechanical engineers. Around 50-60 decent companies visit the college for placement with around 300 job offers with the highest package around 41 lpa which was off campus probably but Amazon could give upto 25-30 lpa i guess, The average package would be around 7 lpa i guess but its gonna improve year by year. If you are in CSE or IT you are most chilled with around 80% placements, in ECE as well there are decent placements but after that you have to study really well to get placed But you can always do a lot of things after getting your degree.

Remarks:

I chose this because of the brand of Panjab University. Plus you get a lot of exposure of Chandigarh and there are a lot of opportunities there based on your field, even better than Delhi. Plus you never get distracted in Chandigarh because of the reason that people are too much work and ethics focused. Also, the level of knowledge the teachers have in my college is just great.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
