Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue research in biomedical sciences, and this course focuses extensively on medical sciences many of our teaching professors are involved in various research activities that provide us a very deep insight and guidance to pursue research and understand it. There is 10:1 student teacher ratio for any kind of counselling, help or consulting for the students. All of our faculties have done their Ph D's in various domains and are very skillfull and passionate about their subjects. The laboratory sessions by our faculties are ultimate fun about the course, It's so much intresting. Exams are taken semester wise and they are intermediate level if one has studied whole semester sincerely.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 21915 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for 2 semester that is One year lies between 21000 to 22000. not more than few thousands rupees has been seen in fee hikes. A student can avail various scholarships in college based on merit and quotas.

Campus Life

The campus is filled with fun and learning,we have our annual college fest Leothrix and various cultural fests like Dandiya nights in navratri and diwali mela during diwali. other than this different departments have their own annual fests, like mine have Cathexis as biomedical sciences department annual fest. We have a dedicated library and study room with web centre, library consist books for each department and also consist of general study material along with material for various national and internation exams. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and high speed wifi to take classes easily. My college holds sports activity every year and in which multiple games competition are held, I participated in Basketball. other than sports ,library and classrooms my college have multiple societies working in many different domains like enactus on social entrepreneurship, e-Cell on entrepreneurship & SPIE working on science and research,dhwani on drama etc, all run by students body

Admission

Admission to B Sc. (H) Biomedical Sciences Program in Acharya Narendra Dev College Requires qualification of Central University Entrance Test (CUET) exam for particular year. The cutoff generally remains about 95 Percentile in each subject to get into merit for biomedical sciences. cutoff varies according to various reservation quotas provided

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

My college is ranked 18th in nirf 2024 in science and 9th in university of delhi and a average campus with good faculty. this my 5th prefrence on my prefrence list i want to take admission in atma ram sanatam dharma college but the crowd is the college is not so good i dont upgrade my college and freezes my seat. in du admission taken on the basis of cuet exam scores and then we have to fill csas portal for du . i dont applied for any other college...Read More

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
