Likes

A good chunk of books in the library apart from the course books
Some teachers that try their best for teaching students
The lab assistant that many times have more knowledge to offer than the subject teacher

Dislikes

The lack of instrument in the labs that doesn't allow proper practical knowledge
Classrooms could be better managed creating a better place to learn
Lack of teachers at least two teachers for every subject is a must

Course Curriculum Overview

This course I chose because of it's opportunities in the upcoming years. Faculty is sufficient but at one or two branches there is a lack of faculty. Some of the faculties are graduate of the IIT's and everyone is at least a M. Tech graduate. Exam are always on time and the exams are little tough.

Placement Experience

From 7 th sem students are eligible for placement. Here only a few companies come and offer but number is increasing by every year. Mainly students focus over the off campus placements and some do get the placement from college

Fees and Financial Aid

Until now I haven't seen any fees hike but in future there might be a hike but compared to other colleges it's still less. There are scholarship like the NSP aur the one's for special categories and for the top 10% students of each branch in every year.

Campus Life

Fest are held but only a few like the annual festival Scintilla and some time's tech fest Ignitron these are mainly conducted in month of April. About library there are plenty of books apart from the course too that can help definitely. Classrooms aren't that good but average. There are some groups active in the college like SAVI.

Admission

For getting admission JEE exam is a must and to get admission in ECE a rank at least below 2,50,000 is required. Admission is done through counselling done by UTU and later on spot counselling is done by the college at premises. Admission is process is smooth and easy less time consuming.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

The placements of the students in the college is satisfactory. This year the students of third year grabbed a placement of 18 LPA . Wipro and TCS visits the campus frequently. The highest package is of 43 LPA and the average stands at 6-7 LPA.. the percentage of the placements is nearly 90-95%..

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester of Btech course. Companies like BigOH, GrowUp, L&T, Rubico, QI Technologies, Mahindra, BEL, etc. visit the campus for on-campus placements and the no. of placements in the year 2023-24 was 113. The placement details are given in the official website of the college. The highest package offered was 12 LPA by BEL and the lowest was 3 LPA. Most of the students go for GATE and don't sit for campus placements. I would go for GATE for higher studies.

Untold Truth

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts after completion of degree although students apply for internships from 3rd year, many companies like amazon, google, Microsoft, flipkart, TCS, wipro, and many core companies like dr. Reddy, relience visit our campus for placement. But it becomes really difficult to get placement in a core company because of competition almost 80-90% students of my branch got placed most of them in non core. Highest package go around 50 lpa and average go around 15-20 lpa. I am also planning to get placement after completing my degree

It is mandatory to appear for JEE Mains entrance examination for admission to Bipin Tripathi Kumar Institute of Technology College. And counseling is done by Uttarakhand Technical University, after that you go to the allotted college and get your admission done. The admission process was very nice and in an organized manner .The admission on the basis of jee mains examination that we gave and for different course the eligibility is also different the application form is available in mechanical engineering department and application process and fee submission process also held there and the application date is around 28 September 2022.
