Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have passion on it. That to become a civil engineer. The teaching faculty are qualified from highest reputated institutes like iit,nit,etc. faculty members are very friendly and more informative.2 timely term exams are present i.e., mid semester and end semester. They difficult exams and better easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There many internship opportunities which are taken on completely on merit basis. These interships are so paid with stipends . We also have to do many projects then we will be able to get internship opportunities

Placement Experience

From 4th semester, students were eligible for internships and from 6th semester, eligible for campus placements.nearly 200 companies visited. Many offers were made. Highest package is 47lpa and average package is 14 lpa. nearly 92% students placed. I want to crack upsc exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is the amount of 175000 per annum and is the 33000 per semester. It's quite a better fee hike policy. And many welfare policies have been introduced for students who are economically weaker. There is also scholarship for all students who met the required conditions

Campus Life

South Indias largest tech and cultural fest are happens in our college. We have many amenities in classrooms like projectors and many more. We have many clubs like streetplay and mime these will enhance the quality of student. The website used by campus has been created by students

Hostel Facilities

In a room 4 people were allotted. Facilities were provided in this room is bed, cupboard, study table, chair,free wifi,and etc. nitc has mutlicusine mess which is suitable for every student from different states. registration process is simple which can be in online and easily affordable to everyone.

Hostel Fee: INR 33000 per year

Admission

I wrote jee mains exam for joining in this college and in this course. For whole process can be found in official nta website.No improvement is needed. The process in which before is sufficiently usable and good working.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
