My point of view about nit Jamshedpur.

I chose this course because like I want to become a engineer from nit. Faculty to student ratio almost 1:95. Here faculties are highly qualified professionals. Almost all faculties did their phd from reputed university. Their teaching methods are understable. We have to give two exams for one semester , one mid and one end semester exam . It is moderate to pass but difficult to get good cgpa.

Currently I am in first year so I didn't know much about internship but our senior are doing internship with tata steel as I belong to mechanical department. Almost 70 percent student get internship here. Here many companies visits for internship. So overall if one want to get internship and he is serious about it and doing hardwork fir it then he or she can get it.

Our campus is known for its placement. Nit Jamshedpur campus placement are getting better per year. Here are some eligibility criteria for sitting in placement like we have to maintain a required cgpa and some technical skills. Here almost 250+ companies visited in last year some of them are tata steel , tata motors , Godrej , Vedanta , Oracle, Adani, HP , Philips etc.

Here fee structure is like 62500 rupees for tution fee for one semester and other charges are 25500 for academic fee and mess charges are 18000 per semester . But here for st and sc students tution fee is not required and for economically backward students fee remission is available. Their are many scholarshipsike ffe and other government scholarship. Currently I am a first year student so I didn't get any job.

Our annual tech fest is ojass and cultural fest is culfest which happens in February generally. Here you can avail books from library . Library is available from Monday to Saturday morning 9 am to night 9pm . Our classroom have good vantilation facility and good lighting and here ac are also available. Here sports facilities are good . Our annual sports fest is urja . Here one social group called student council which is run by students for students

In our hostel rooms light , fan bed table chair and lan facilities are provided. Our mess quality is also good . I did registration for hostel during counseling. Hostels are affordable. I didn't rent any pg .

Toget addmission in nit we should have scored a good percentile in jee main, like above 95 , then we have to fill jossa counseling form and chose our college preference . Here reservation are available for obs ,st and sc students and for girls also .
