Remarks :

the eligibility for msc. in biochemistry is undergraduate degree in any field of biology(life sciences, biochemistry or any other related branch) and student should have studied biology in his/her 12th standard. application form is available on their website they conduct their own entrance test. The level of entrance exam is worth the screening

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty members are good and they are helpful in every way possible. All the professors are highly qualified in their field. the teaching style is also good and they provide a good learning environment. The exams are conducted on time and they are of good level.

Class Size : 33Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

They provide 6-month and 3-month internships in their well-established labs to students of other colleges. They help in providing dissertation projects too. They allow students to go outside and experience the work environment of good labs

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MSC biochemistry is a self-financed course in Jamia Millia Islamia. therefore, its overall fee is around 1lakh for 2 years which is around 50k for a year. There are scholarships available for some students.

Campus Life :

The library facility is very good and every book is available. They have smart classes and a conference room with good capacity. all the classrooms and labs are air-conditioned. there are clubs available for students

Amazing

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placement.Moody Yamaha Karnataka bank, united airlines,Optum and many more around .the highest package from our department was 23 lakhs and the average package is 13 lakhs.The percentage of students who got placed are 80%.After getting my degree I will sit for off campus placement too

Reality of government colleges

Placement Experience:

For my course after 3rd sem students are eligible for campus placement but there are some conditions like all paper must be cleared by students. For our course there was a consultant company which provides 7 students placement and some students gets projects.the highest package is 7.9 and the average is 6 . Approx 80% of students of our seniors are placed others are doing internship.after my degree i will definitely try for the campus placement.

Experience at dept of mathematics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

Remarks:

Positive remarks :- College is really a peaceful place if someone say you have to spend your whole life in the hostel then I am ready. So calm and peaceful environment all around, peacocks in the garden and 5 o'clock pigeon sound outside the room was just amazing.
