What Students Say

Likes

The societies, they are really one of the biggest + point of CVS, as they are very well functioning.
The campus, even though is a little small, really grows on you. And you'll start enjoying it.
The faculty and the students are all very friendly.

Dislikes

Some section of the crowd is not very good.
The fests' happening is very uncertain, as has been the case last year.
Like all DU colleges, the admin are not very cooperative.

I have always had a kick for management and marketing, and i knew that Bachelor of Commerce would be the right path for me, as i wish to pursue Masters in Marketing field. As for the faculty, they are pretty good and well qualified, and helpful too.

Class Size: 115Course Fees: INR 11775 per year

Placement Experience

I dont have much information about the college placement as of now, as im targetting Masters after completing my Bcom degree. But some good companies do come for placement in our college, presenting lucrative offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as it goes, i havent got the opportunity to do any internship yet, but im open to doing so in the future. Also the best part of Delhi University is it affordability. My yearly fees is 12000, which is minimal as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

Life at campus is absolutely fun. The annual fest is held in february. The library does contain all the necessary books, and is stacked. CVS is doing well in sports too, especially its football team. Though the best part of cvs is its societies, which conduct events all across the DU circuit, and are quite popular. Getting their exposure is highly recommended

Admission

I took the CUET exam, in which i scored 729/800, to get CVS, bcom hons. As far as my 12th marks are concerned, i scored a wealthy 96%, which helped me accomplish my dream of studying at delhi university.

Daulat ram college through the eyes of drcians

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd year our internship is started and after 2nd year i.e, in the starting of 3rd year we are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies every year visit Daulat ram College for campus placement. Like:- Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato. I have CA in my mind after graduation.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

My pov of college

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
