I chose this course because ECE is not much different from CSE since both are circuital brances and placements here are quite good. The faculty student ratio is good; each branch has different professors for different subjects who are highly qualified (all phd) and their teaching methods are good too but it highly depends on you as you cant rely on faculties no matter which college/course you take. Exams were taken on time, there wasnt much rush with the syllabus and they were moderately difficult. neither too easy nor too difficult to pass.

On Campus internships are available from 3rd year. Atlassian offers the highest package here. Apart from that, there are more companies that offer good placements like arcesium. Placements are quite good here, the reason most people choose this college. Average package for top branches go upto 22-27 lpa with median being around 17-20 lpa. The highest package offered remains 83 lpa offered by Atlassian; they gave 6 full time offers this year. Companies start vising campus for internships as soon as your 4th semester gets over.

The cost to study is average just like other NITs which is ofc less than IITs. There are many scholarships provided if a student has financial issues. Even if you belong to lower castes, there is full fee remission.

There are majorly 3 kinds of fests, cultural, technical and sports. Our cultural fest is CULFEST, Tech fest is OJASS and Sports fest is URJA. Apart from these, there are many other fests as well like our ECE Branch fest NEXUS. Overall you'll never get bored. Library has a good collection of books so that shouldnt be a problem. Classrooms are well equipped with all modern equipments like centralised AC, projectors, fans, charging port for laptops and good benches.

Hostels and Mess are easily available for the students. During your first year, you will have to share room with a roommate and the rooms are quite small but starting from 2nd year onwards you get a single room which is a plus point. Mess food is okayish, like what you can expect from a mess. we get a 4 time meal daily at fixed timings. Also taking hostels is compulsary so even if you are a local, you will have to stay in hostels.

The admission process was very smooth through JoSAA Counselling. One needs to appear in JEE (Main) examination to be eligible for admission in B.tech courses. The cutoff isnt too high so you can easily get admission here. JEE (Main) application form is released by NTA every year so stay updated with them. There are many reservation benefits as well if you belong to certain categories.
