Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opt for this course due to my intrest in the language sanskrit and I was in general fascinated by Indian Mythology. Our course was a well designed one that covered all sort of major literary text, grammar, vedic and puranic text and give an overall general perspective of sanskrit as a language and about it's connect to the Indian society. We had a around 45 to 50 students in our class that was a pretty descent number. We had a great faculty for all our papers who gave us both a qualitative view of the course and taught ur for exam point of view also. Our exams were conducted very timely without any hindrances and they were a bit difficult.

Placement Experience

5

We do had a placement cell in our college that do helped us for getting jobs according to the courses we were persuaing and the variety of skill sets and our choices. Moreover a large number Of students were preparing for other government exams for getting a job like CSE, CDS, etc and college assisted in that also through teachers guiding us and a variety of resources and books available in library.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year our fees was around 17.5 thousand something but it grew to 20.5 thousand till the third year and that's okay I guess. A variety of scholarship were provided from our college end though I haven't availed any of them . There are a varieties of internship introduced to us. And campus placement varies from 5-10 lacs according to the course you are Persuaing

Campus Life

5

The social life our college was awesome . We had a very lively atmosphere of our college campus. A very big sports ground with all the facilities. There were about 50+ societies in college covering all sort of hobbies and talents (singing, dancing, drawing, modeling, etc.)

Admission

So in our time, there was no sort of entrance exam, admission was done on the basis of Class 12 th marks. The average cut off for our course (B.A. hons. Sanskrit) was 85% as much as I can remember. The forms were easily available on the Delhi University official website were we had to create an ID and everything was available on our dashboard related to admission forms the cut offs etc.

The curriculum is not good. Delhi University should focus much better on the curriculum.. There's no need of subject like evs, swach bharat, and all for a college student... The timetable is manageable..

Course curriculum was good. Could have included more practical stuff. I was happy when I chose the course and pretty satisfied when I completed it. However, I'd say just the course doesn't prepare you for the industry.

Placements of our college doesn't lack anything as students mostly opt for further studies but I have no issues saying that placements are also available if not in numbers. Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. Still, Miranda House has done well to make sure that over 60-65% students get placements.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement but if we doing 4 years of college so 8 semester. Name of the companies visited. Zomato Amazon Uber Ibm There are around 70000 students who are eligible for the placement Asiants paints The highest and average package offered to the students is 35 LPA for highest and 3-4 LPA average. The percentage of a student must be above 80 percent if they want a average job but if a person want a job in great company they should have percentage around 90 to 95. My plans after getting the degree to become a lecturer. placements, especially for students in popular courses like commerce, economics, and science. The college often invites various companies for campus recruitment, and many students have secured jobs in reputable firms. the extent of placements can vary each year based on market conditions, the courses offered, and the students' performance. If campus placements are limited or not offered, students can still focus on enhancing their employability. By making them selves skillful growing them selves from iner side By skill Development Engage in skill-building activities such as online courses, workshops, or certifications that are relevant to your field. Skills in areas like data analysis, digital marketing, programming, or communication can significantly boost your employability. By Internships seek internships during your course. They provide practical experience and can often lead to job offers. Internships also help you build a professional network by Networking Attend industry events, seminars, and workshops to connect with professionals in your field. Networking can lead to job opportunities that may not be advertised and Higher Studies Consider pursuing further education, such as a master's degree or professional courses, which can enhance your qualifications and open up more job opportunities Entrepreneurship. We can start our own business from which we don't have to get depends on companies.
