Course Curriculum Overview

I enjoy coding and coding is my hobby and therefore I decided to pursue computer science and engineering. The faculty to student ratio is about 1 is to 30. The teachers are highly qualified and have a mastery in their respective subjects

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Microsoft,Infosys Larsen and turbo come here for placements. Larsen and turbo hires in mass . Places like software engineer is given in the company. The projects make you industry ready

Placement Experience

The students become eligible to sit in placements and internships programs from third and fourth year. There are off campus placements as well. About 70 percent of the students get placed. My plan is to set up my own business

Fees and Financial Aid

The fess structure is: through comedk it is 3,50,000 per annum. Through kcet it is 85000 and through management quota it is 8 yo 12 lakhs depending upon the options you chose. The scholarship takes place after tests

The annual fest here is technix. The fests are not up to the mark and there a lot less events considered compared to other colleges. The fests take place every odd semester. The sports facility are really good

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
