Likes

Faculty is good as they teach very well.
They conduct clubs frequently which are fun and educational.
College environment is good for studies and college life.

Dislikes

Food is not that good and generally south indian foods are there.
Hostel facilities are not that good as some toilets are broken, wifi is bad, tec.
Fests are not that much and not that good

Course Curriculum Overview

I interested in Computer world so I choose Computer Science and Engineering stream. 1:8 is the teacher student ratio which is decent in my view. Generally, qualification of teachers are PhD and MTech and teaching is great as my perspective. Every month there is exam or test or quiz, and difficulty level of exam is moderate.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies which offer internships are JP Morgan, Infosys, TCS. Some even offer pre-placements like Fidility, Sisco, Mercedez Benz. Generally, seniors gave 2 to 3 major projects in their portfolio for easily cracking internships.

Placement Experience

After 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The average package is 7 LPA. The highest package last year was i guess 53 LPA. Almost everyone gets the average package. My plans after getting the degree might be opening up a startup or to get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year there is 7% hike in fees but after getting admission there will be fixed fees structure. I assume for 4 years 16 to 17 lakh fees will be there for tuition + hostel fees. You can get scholarship from NGOs but college does not provide scholarship for COMEDKians.

Campus Life

As fest I will say that mechanical fest , tech fest , etc . There are clubs such as IEEE , OWASP , etc . On college ground sports such as cricket, badminton, etc. are played and there indoor sports are also there such as Table Tennis, carrom, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is clean generally and common washrooms are there, wifi is there which is really bad. Hostel mess' food is ok not so bad not so good qnd generally south indian foods are there. For registration for hostel room you have to reach hostel manager.

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

I gave COMEDK engineering entrance exam for admission in Karnataka private colleges and I got The National Institute of Engineering through its counselling. Please COMEDK make document verification fast. I filled form at comedk.org

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
