The college is nice overall, according to the return of investment
The weather here is also nice. It's warm and comfortable
The faculties here are helpful and supportive

Dislikes

The college is pretty strict about the attendance
The campus life is average according to the fests and all
They have two campuses North and South which are 16 km apart and its very tough getting from South hostel to the north campus everyday

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties here are excellent and supportive. Almost all of them hold PhD degrees and they help the students throughout. Although they are very strict regarding the attendance. They teach nicely and are well aware of the curriculum

Internships Opportunities

The college provides nice internship opportunities with good stipends. Companies like Google, Wipro, TCS and Infosys visit the campus for placement and provide nice placement packages to the students concerned

The college provides excellent placement and internship opportunities. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Wipro etc visit the college and provide excellent packages to the students. The placement percentage is also nice here. The highest package was 54 lacs as per this year

Fees and Financial Aid

For Comedk students the fees overall is 415000 and for students through KCET is around 135000 and for PMSSS quota it's around 50000. The college gives a nice ROI to the fees. College provides good internships and placements

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty average here. The campus size is also not that great. The college has all the library, labs and other similar facilities. The college has a lot of tech events but there is only one annual cultural fest

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are average. The food and wifi facilities are also average. The hostel fees in total per year is 110000. My campus is North campus and I stay at the south campus hostel which is 16 kms away from my campus. The hostel provides bus facility which charges 25000 per year

Admission

For being eligible you are supposed to have 50% in your PUC examinations. I've come from PMSSS quota so I had to pay lesser fee than usual. Previously a lot of seats were vacant for outside candidates. This should not be the case.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
