Course Curriculum Overview

I took computer science because I was keen in studying about computers and programming languages. The faculty here are quite good, in fact some of them are very good and some are pretty average. The mid sem here are easy to score but they do a little strict checking.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A good amount of companies visit the campus to give internships, also the college helps a lot in making every student getting the internship. The stipend here goes as high as 1 lpm. As I'm a first year student, I don't have much information about the projects here.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6th sem and their internship starts as early as 5th sem. Good amount of companies visit the campus. The highest pakage as far as I've heard is of 1.2cr and avg pakage was 12 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of PES is quite high compared to other colleges. Also it increases the tution fees of around 10% every year. The scholarships here are decent. They majorly provide 2 types of scholarship, one of which is, they give 50% scholarship when the student is in top 5% of the batch

Campus Life

Annual fest here is named Aatmatrisha. It is one of the best fest held among the nearby colleges. It is generally conducted in March or April. The classrooms are well furnished as well as well equipped with amenities. There is a cricket field and a Futsal field but in cricket field only the players of college team are allowed

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are spacious here, they have two types of rooms, one with attached bathroom and one with common bathroom the difference amount is 15k.The meal here is average, although they maintain hygienic food

Hostel Fee: INR 145000 per year

Admission

I took admission by pessat. It is an entrance exam conducted by PES University to take admission in every domain. Application fees was around 1100 and the dates were out in March/April. There is no reservation as such in the college through pessat, although it takes students through kcet, which is a Karnataka state entrance exam.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

Life in PESU

Except PESU I applied for MCC banglore, MSRUAS banglore, Chanakya University banglore and Reva University banglore and got offer letter from all the 4 universities. I choose PESU over the other universities considering fee structure, infrastructure, curriculum, importance give to extra curricular activities, proximity to main parts for the city etc. The admission process in PES is quite simple, first we have to fill an application form, then we will be having an interview. Once we get qualified in the interview we will be asked to pay the seat blocking fee. Then after few weeks we can pay the pending amount later will have to go to the university for documents submission. MBA at PES University

PES University is situated at the silicon valley of India, Bangalore. Its a good choice to apply for MBA at PES as it would give you enough exposure to the industry world. I gave my PGCET exam before applying as the scores are necessary for admission. The university is ranked 76-100 for MBA by NIRF 2021. It's the best B school under VTU.
