Course Curriculum Overview

It's my personal choice to do that course because I'm really interested in this field. Here faculty and students ratio is 1:60. All the teachers are well educated from reputed colleges like IITs. There is no difficulty in passing the exam if you go to daily classes and study properly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many Companies come to our College like Khanna group and many more. The highest package is up to 10 to 30 lakhs per Annum depending on whether the students that are capable or not for that package.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a total of 8 semesters in my course and we have to pay in every six months duration. This is a 4-year course. Scholarship will be provided to SC and st caste people and there is one extra feature if you pass your entrance exam with very high marks and obtain top ranked then you will get benefits in paying semester fees.

Campus Life

College life is very good. Here annual fest is held known as tech-fest and Madhuram. Classes are conducted regularly. Here we can play all types of sports and have proper facilities for that. Here so many clubs have been formed.

Admission

we applied for the entrance exam on the college website and after the exam I was eligible for admission to my course, after that on that website there was a link for payment for admission. After the payment, we will get the payment receipt and that receipt will help in administrative department to confirm our admission.

Interview Experience

At first, there was an entrance exam for admission after that they provided the list of ranks on the basis of the marks. These ranks decide that our admission will be in that course that we choose or we can also provide some other course for that situation.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

It gives excellent placement offers with around 270 companies visits. The highest package for 2025 passng batch is 54LPA with a average package of 10 to 12 LPA. Top companies like google , apple ,microsoft,amzon ,Barclays ,deloitte and many more offers in thapar.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities.
