Course Curriculum Overview
It's been one year since I got admitted to college and I have completed my 3 semesters. We have semester exams every 4 months. I didn't find that much difficulty in passing the semester exam. I just need to study a month before the exam. The faculty is highly qualified and most of them have years of experience in teaching. Almost all of the teachers are PhD.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer jobs in campus placements. We have two placement options one is from college and one is from University which is the central placement cell. Almost all of the major companies offer jobs in placement drives. Eligibility varies from company to company but for some every course graduate is eligible to sit in the interview. Companies like Reliance, Swiggy, Infosys, Tata and many more are in option for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite low as compared to other private colleges. My college has a NIRF ranking of 17 all over India. The infrastructure is also impressive with a very good library. Campus placement is there for almost all of the courses but most of the students are preparing for different exams during their college like many students are preparing for civil services.
Campus Life
Sabrang is the annual fest of my college and is is celebrated in February. Deshbandhu college has one of the best library of delhi university and almost books for every type of student is present there. We can issue book from our I'd card. Various society and clubs are present to enhance the skills of students like music, dance, culture and many more. Other than this NCC and NSS is also there so that students can get new experiences and learning from that . Various sports are also being played like volleyball and circket. We can also join college team if we have a special talent.
Admission
I took the CUET exam for admission to Deshbandhu College of Delhi University. After the results of CUET were announced I had to register myself on csas (common seat allocation system) portal where I submitted my CUET roll number mark sheet and other documents like the 10-12th marksheet aadharcard and paid a registration fee of 250 rupees. Then I filled courses according to preference in my preferred college. The first round of allocation was then declared but I got my seat in the second round and updated to Deshbandhu College in the third round. I belong to the general category so I was not eligible for any of the reservation benefits and got the seat in the unreserved category. My yearly fee is 19k and it's pretty low according to the level of my college.
