Course Curriculum Overview

This course would provide the best opportunities for the software world faculty-student ratio is good but could be better all the teachers are well qualified and their teaching methods are also good the timing of the exam are not that good and the frequency is very poor.

Internships Opportunities

I am a first year so no company has offered me any internship but companies do offer internships and they do and they also offer introductory roles to the students based on their skills you can also go off campus for an internship.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement from the 4th year and almost all major companies visit the campus and almost every student is placed. The highest package is unknown because there hasn't been any placement because the college is now not even a single batch has been passed out.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is okay because it also provides easy installment opportunities for a scholarship is very rare because you have to be gifted to crack the scholarship for underprivileged students they provide financial aid.

Campus Life

Falak is the annual fest which is conducted in October, all the books that you need are available in the library and the journals also the classroom is full of amenities there students won't be lacking anything the campus also provides opportunities for sports they have all facilities and extracurricular activities take place frequently there also many clubs which are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are nice the rooms are well equipped and are daily cleaned but the food is not that great the registration process for the hostel is easy but you need a good rank in the entrance exam to get inside the campus hostel and it is not at all affordable if you are from a middle-class family.

Hostel Fee: INR 189000 per year

Admission

The entrance exam I took is called MET application process was easy and there were no reservation benefits the only improvement would be in the counselling process should be made easier to understand for the new students.

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

MET is required to apply to this college, admission is given based on your rank. MET includes MIT Manipal, MIT Bengaluru, MUJ, SMIT. KCET is NOT accepted for Manipal colleges as other websites state, they only take addmission based on MET. Manipal Bangalore Review

I had got into SRM and VIT Bhopal . SRM i did not consider as it was an online admission exam , which many students had used unfair means to get their rank , this caused me to pick manipal as i believed it would have a better crowd . VIT bhopal does not have as big as a name as manipal moreover it was in my hometown hence i chose this collge . I had a good enough rank to get ECE in main campus of MANIPAL but i chose bangalore as i was getting computer science here and i am passionate about this subject . I didnt get into IIT's or NIT's or BIT's as i feel i did not put enough effort in my studies and these exams require rigourous studies . Manipal's entrance exam or MET , is an on-site online exam , mcq based (+4,-1). The eligibility criterea when i had joined was a 50% in Physics math and an optional subject in Class 12 examination . I had got a rank of 11k and the cut off for my course was 12k .
