Likes

I love they provide placement from big companies like TCS.
I like the central library as well as department library.
I like the sufficient computer facilities.

Dislikes

I don't like they have many campus and they are far from each.
The difficulty level of exam is very high. Hard to pass semester exam.
Sometimes lift elevator doesn't work and we have to choose steps.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the syllabus resembles with CSIR NET syllabus. Teachers are well experienced and qualified. Exams are difficult to pass and commence every semester. For 77 students there were 17 staff members.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 10253 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this University are affordable i.e. 10k per year. Also, we get scholarships from the state government. The course fees are worth it because of the quality of education. Student get campus jobs and assistance.

Campus Life

Well In my experience we don't find any annual fest. Library in each and every dept available apart from that a central library is there. All amenities are found in every department. The student union is there to help every student.

Admission

We can get admission there by appearing for an entrance i.e. CPET (common PG entrance test) and an interview. We get that application from in there official website. Eligibility is to have a graduate degree in mathematics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

A Nurturing Place to Learn and Thrive

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.

from 3rd semester itself the placement cells start their work and provide a world cass oppertuinity for the placements . its nice in my college. i can say about my course and batch in witch this yeasr almost 14 stuents got a job from placement in core and non core out of 24 people. which is nice for a masters course where students go for reaserch more.

Nowadays the future as a Biotechnology student is bright as it has a lot of industrial options. The faculty-student ratio is 1:6, all professors are completed their Ph.D. and they are very efficient in both online and offline mode.
