Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well structured. The faculty is very well experienced and interacts well with the students. Term exams took place twice and internals took place in between, they are not very hard but 75% attendance is mandatory throughout college.
Placement Experience
Placement rate is high. Students start engaging in it in the second year itself. Companies like godrej, microsoft and other big mncs come . Highest package goes upto 22LPA. 70% students get placements. If Im pursuing a psychology degree, i may go into an mnc for industrial psychology.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are affordable, like for BA, including all things I had to pay 13k per year. The campus placements are very nice and packages go up to 21lpa. They collaborate with mncs and provide internships to students.
Campus Life
Mumbai colleges are known for their social life. Mithibai College has its own committee known as kshitij which conducts events and also takes part in other fests. Auditions take place if you want to be a part of the committee. The library is air-conditioned and huge, all books are the latest. Classrooms have mics, smartboards, and ACs. Sports take place in turfs for which auditions take place as well. They have an Instagram page too.
Admission
The admission process was quite easy. First, we had to sign up on the Mumbai University form. And then the respective college, for eg. if I wanted to apply to Mithibai College, then I had to apply on its website. First, there was a 50-50 aggregate for cuet marks and 12th, but then from the second merit list onwards, only 12th marks were considered. After admission, documents were submitted. The admission process should be more flexible for outsiders.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA]
College was good as compared to other options but co-curriculars were very less . Sports and other activities were payed less attention too. The environment was very stressful
