What Students Say
Likes
- The faculty - a truly dedicated one, with lots of opportunities and knowledge to grasp.
- The quick working admin - unlike other universities, the admin staff is very quick to help.
- The extracurricular departments were very accepting.
Dislikes
- The restrictions - even though it is great to have precautions but this restrictions sometimes leads to loss of freedom from students. For ex- not being able to conduct concerts like every DU college.
- Class strength can be reduced to something along the lines of 35-40 per class
- Limited options for internships - not the best but students can intern everywhere else with the knowledge imparted.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members were truly gems! All of them, from my department, have significantly enhanced and boosted my confidence with the tons of opportunities that they have. Moreover, all the teachers were dedicated even on holidays to taking time out of their schedule to test our knowledge and conduct brainstorming sessions. Indeed with all the materials and repetitive (sometimes annoying but worth it) tests and exams the finals and mid-year exams were a piece of cake for us!
Fees and Financial Aid
As we all know, the University of Delhi is one of the most inexpensive options for bright students. Therefore, my fee was 7500 for a single year. My education has never been this affordable before. There were scholarships offered to students from every walk of life which was a plus.
Campus Life
My campus life has been amazing since it is subjective to every student. It included extracurricular activities from different departments, from singing to anchoring to dancing, sports, and social work. We had access to everything. There were department-run clubs and organisations such as Politia for Political Science dept- which I was a part of.
Admission
The admission process for my college was quite smooth. Since I got admitted into the course during COVID-19, the admission was done online, the admin staff was (and still is) very accommodating. I had a million queries before the application, which were solved by the faculty via email swiftly and in detail. I liked how they were open to solving each one of our problems, no matter how petty in nature they were.
