Course Curriculum Overview
On average there are 40-50 students each year in mathematics and there are 14 teachers in our department. Which is roughly one teacher per 10 students. Teachers are sweet and helpful in nature. Will help you to understand things better.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internships but mainly are related to commerce students only. Rarely there are internships which are for science students. Most of them are unpaid. A few of them were with younity, Gwrepp, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for BSc maths honors are 15000 per year on average. But the area of Gargi College is a posh area, cost of living in PG at walking distance can cost up to 20,000 per month. Overall, it is quite affordable to study in Gargi College.
Campus Life
The annual fest of Gargi is called Reverie. It is conducted in April and there are many other fests. There are many societies and associations in Gargi College in which you can take part. The library is quite good with many books related to your syllabus and also other books. Gargi has many sports activities and extracurricular activities like debate, dance, arts, etc. You can visit the instapage of Gargi college, and its societies.
Admission
Gargi College is a girl's college, but not a boring one. It is interesting to go to college and the faculty of mathematics is also helping and supporting. A crowd at Gargi College is best. Seniors are very sweet. Everyone will help in case of any problem. The food of Gargi's canteen is very affordable and delicious. The only problem is that there is no network in the science block. Otherwise, Gargi is a good college.
