I am from ECE, and I chose this branch because I have had an interest in electronics since childhood. The faculty members of the university are well-qualified, and most of them are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching style is very good.

Placement Experience

The performance of my university is increasing day by day. It provides almost 85% placement. Most of the companies are related to the IT sector. The highest package of this year is 60lpa and the average package is 5lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since my university is under the state government it's fees are very low. You need only 48k to complete your btech degree here. My university also provides placement opportunities at the beginning of the 4th year, but there are very less opportunities for internships here. My university also helps the student by providing scholarships. One of the most popular scholarships is the swami Vivekanand scholarship which provides 60k per year.

Campus Life

Being a state government university, the infrastructure structure of my university is not too good. Seniors are very helpful. My campus is ragging-free. There are lots of societies in my university to participate. All the books are available on the library.

Admission

Basically, In my university, there are two ways to get admission one is from wbjee counselling and the other one is through it's own exam which is popularly known as AUAT(Aliah University Admission Test) If your rank is under 25k then you might get a seat here in any one of the branches. And In AUAT If your rank is under 300 then you might get some decent branch.

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

A life of students in Aliah University

Basically I am not applied for any other colleges. So I have only option to take addmission .But now I am happy to got addmission in this college.
