Entrance Preview

For the admission in CUTN we need to give CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CUCET) in which Online Application Form Go-Live from the month of April. Integrated M.Sc Economics (5 year Course) For Integrated M.Sc Economics in CUTN is the best option as it has collaborated with Madras School of Economics, Chennai for the last 2 year M.Sc Program. It gives 100% placement. For the admission in Integrated M.Sc program student need to have a maths background in their Higher secondary studies (12th).

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Structure (following UGC) is Very Good as it covers whole economics with Math, statistics and econometrics which helps in further research studies. Faculties have more teaching experience as well as research experience. They guide the student not only in subjective but also prepare the student as a researcher too.

Internships Opportunities

When we move to basic research internship, we don't get stipend for it, but we get lots of research knowledge from the researcher this is when we do an internship in between 1st 3 year of the Integrated M.Sc in CUTN but after 3 years when we move to Madras School of Economics for 2 year M.Sc program we get Stipend and non stipend internships calls from different sectors. In the corporate sector like Accenture, they give 25,000 to 2 month internship.

In the face of the ongoing structural changes in the Indian economy with an increasing role for competitive market forces, enterprises are challenged in making the right strategic decisions that would ensure success. Policy makers are challenged in devising enabling policies that would encourage efficiency, growth and fairness. Facing up to these challenges requires, among other things, a good grasp of the underlying economic issues, facility with the necessary quantitative tools that aid in-depth analysis and informed judgment. One of the major objectives of MSE is to equip our youngsters to meet this crying need. The approach adopted in our graduate program strives to provide the students a good foundation in economic principles & theory and to enable meaningful application of this knowledge to a wide range of issues. They are equipped with the knowledge and facility to use the necessary quantitative tools. Campus Life

4

CUTN Campus is the best campus as far I have known with a proper hostel facilities, mess facilities, libraries, lab for all departments and have indoor and outdoor stadium for playing games.population of girls in cutn are more than boys. (girls: 60%, boys:40%)there is no discrimination in caste, religion, race and gender.

Alumni/Alumna

Zero percent ragging by the seniors. Seniors play dominant character in the students life as they guide their junior for their better career with their experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Geography has always been something that has fascinated me as a person. And MCC offering a science degree for the subject was quite a surprise. Many of the colleges offer it as an arts degree. Just that the practical aspect of Geography comes into life and being a science degree it becomes easier for pursuing masters.
