A Hidden Story of Central University of Tamilnadu

The curriculum is very good and nice the reason behind is choose this course because it have dual degree programme bachelors and masters as well so this is a good option and also there is a option of quit after 3rd year by taking the degree of BSc and also this structure follows the new education policy and it makes the better structure that connect with the other college and other courses. In real world application this course is good and it helps in comptetive exams prepearations. Area of improvement is like they can add and equalize the course syllabus to Gate or IIT JAM syllabus so that we will be able to prepare with the same syllabus of college to the entrance exam syllabuys. After completing of 2 units they use to conduct an internal exam and after completing all the unit we have our external that is end semester exam happens. The level of exam is quite moderate and not that much difficult but it is relavant to the subject and to the course content.

As i am a student of Integrated master in physics so i paid per semester tution fee as 8900Rs till the 2nd year means till 4th semester, after that 5th semester onward i paid 9790Rs per semester as a ttion fee. As i am outside of the state of Tamilnadu so i didn't get any scholorship. For ther categories the tution fee is same but they use to get scholorship as the return of their tution fee, those students are from near by the state of Tamilnadu and kerala. Scholorship like Sc, St scholorship and Study 4 buddy scholorship and some government scholorship for students in Tamilnadu. As hostel fee for a general category students they have to pay 2000Rs per semester in a year. Some other category they don't have to pay that hostel fee.

There is many time of college functions and the festival happens in my college and because the diversity is there all function of each and every states and every culture we can see there. This is the maine reason that makes this college good. Library have good number of book and relavant to the syllabus you can get 70 to 80 percentage of the book of your syllabus and that book are very good and you can read and take a good experience over that. Some classroomes have smart board and projectors are available so that we have online thing to present and that experience good.

Hostels facilities is very good for the first two years of college and that are the best hostel of the college and that hostel have every facilities and very good to live. In boys each room two students use to live and in girls three students use to live in one room. After the 2nd year you will get an old hostel; that is quite bad as compare to the hostel you will get in your initial two years of your college .Registration process is like when you applly for the college you will get the option of the hostel along with them and you can choose hostel. Affordability is very good you have to pay only 2000Rs per semester wise fee for the hostel and hostel is available for all the students and there is no shortage of hostel. As our college is in rural area so there is no that much PG or other hostel to stay outside the campus

I applied for the other colleges like Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and many other colleges and that colleges are quite old and they have some reputation and name of their academic background and their curriculum. I didn't get admission their because of my low marks as i am from general category and for general category the cutoff is very high and so that i had given the CUET exam that is common University Entrance Exam and that therough i got my college Central University of Tamilnadu. I didn't get any rejection from any other college i choosen this college. In my college admission process happens through the common university entrance exam that is known as CUET and by this exam you can get admission and eligibilty for the exam is you have to pass 12th with minimum percentage so that you can give exam CUET and after doing counselling processs you will get admission in this college.

In our physics department total 11 faculty is there and in my class total 33 students is there, there is a very good relationship between students and faculties and they are approachable and helping nature towards the students. I like the most the faculty his name is Dr. Sampurn Anand and reason behind liking him his honesty and hardwork towards the teaching and his efforts to deliver the concept and to explain all the topics to all the classmates. There are 3 internals happend in each semester and it happens for 30 marks and 10 for assignments and attendence and some thers, and end semester occurs of 60 marks. The level of exam are moderate and average and not that much difficult and not so hard. Course curriculum is very relevant and helps to support the comptetive exam preperation and helps to understand the nature of course.

Night life is not that much good or special you will not get library open after 9pm and other thing also get closed after 9pm and the main gate of college get close after tha 10pm so that if you want to go outside of the campus you have to take gatepass from the hostel caretaker. Only one study room is there near library that use to open in night time and students go there and study. Hostels closes at 10 to 11pm after that there is no permission to go outside of the campus in night. Places to hangout and visit is there is a temple near by the college of the distance over 8km and that is a historical place and that is very good to see and visit.
