Mess food quality is poor and very bad and.
In cutn you might miss the experience of diversity because most of the students are might be malayalees. It was like when I was studying. So for a malayalee he won't get the experience of diversified culture

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the curriculum of cutn m com cause I was pursuing the career as a professor, so I have to write UGC NET exams. I found that the syllabus there in was similar to achieve the UGC NET. And there was some extra subject like operation research etc. Exam was semester basis, difficulties are depends on your study.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I was studied my m com in Central University of Tamil Nadu, the fee structure was fair enough to afford. In the first sem it was around 7000, second sem- 5000, 3- 6000, and 4-7000. Hostel fee was 1500 per sem, there might be pretty much increase in the hostel fees. I got the scholarship of government Kerala named scholarship for outside state studying students.

Campus Life

The campus environment was overall good. Majority was malayalees when I was there and minority of other state students also. We used to meet every week for to discuss social issues, and many club was there, but the student where not much active for that. But we conduct every programme and days to celebrate dance and stage programmes.

Admission

I applied every central university in India after the CUCET exam. I got admission at every where includes, Kerala , Punjab, Jharkhand, but I choose CUTN mainly because of the syllabus there in which was suitable to my career objectives, and other thing is distance and fee structure.

Faculty

Faculty member for my course ( m com) was very good fellas who were ready to give any help in academic way and if we ask for permission to any programme that all was very approachable. The thing is if we re ready then they also will help. Exams was in semester basis with CBCS( choice based credit system)

Interview Experience

There were no interviews cause weve been selected through entrance exam now named as CUET. The exam includes questions from part 1 for general and part 2 for ur subject papers. The exam easiness is depends on your study level.

Night Life

The night life was damn good there. The students are allowed to wander through campus 24 hr. There is reading room of 24*7. The gym is open only till 7"" clock. There are many spot to students for sit and talk and have some good tyms. But outside the campus is not allowed after 10" clock. If you have any urgency yu can get permission.

A Hidden Story of Central University of Tamilnadu

I applied for the other colleges like Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and many other colleges and that colleges are quite old and they have some reputation and name of their academic background and their curriculum. I didn't get admission their because of my low marks as i am from general category and for general category the cutoff is very high and so that i had given the CUET exam that is common University Entrance Exam and that therough i got my college Central University of Tamilnadu. During my admission, the exam was CUCET. I had a score of 212. I got admission in the first allotment itself. I guess the cut-off was around 150 for general category students that year.
