Campus environment was literally good calm atmosphere which helps you to settle down your mind
Mix of people, as it's a central university there is a great bunch of students from various part of nation
Library it was such a great place with lot of books to read

Dislikes

Transportation - college is too far away from the town and less transport availability
Mess food - it's not that worth and you will not be happy with it
Climate is too hard summers are extreme and muddy roads during rainy season

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is structured in such a manner that doesn't need much high effort so it's there is a healthy balance in it. They are uptofated to a level but needs more practical input. Various elective courses are now offering by various departments also

Internships Opportunities

Placement cell of college shares various government, NGO as well as other internship opportunities. Along with this professors allows students to work under them for various government and other research activities.

Placement Experience

Federal bank is one of the frequent recruiter in the campus , they offer average package of 12 lpa and it's pretty good. Other placement are not that good. Researchzs the best option for CUTN students

Fees and Financial Aid

While I joined the course, I had to pay a sum of 10000 rupees which included admission fee, 1st sem fee and other deposits. Yes yearly there is an increase in free by 5%- 10%. Then coming to hostel fee, it was around 2000 while I join, but now it's around 3000

Campus Life

College is having a common multi purpose hall were usual college events happen.college also have some intellectual think and talking societies. Onam, Pongal, holi are the main events of the college. College is having annual sports meet as well as cultural fest

Hostel Facilities

College is having almost 8 hostels, 3 for boys 3 for girls and 2 for PhD students. Rooms in old boys hostel are spacious and 2 sharing. Other hostels having 3 and 4 sharing rooms. Mess is along with hostel Nd hostels are beautiful places where good memories are made

Hostel Fee: INR 4500 per year

Admission

I choose cutn because of its affordability, the course fee as well hostel fee is too low and manageble for a middle class Indian family. Also it's diversity is a plus. Along with all these as it's south it was more convenient for me. Admission process is through cuet ug exam

Faculty

Faculties are were good, young as well as experienced professor's are there for each subject. Economics having around 8 - 11 professors who completed their degrees from UoH, JNU etc. As number of students are less compared to other places we are having a strong and healthy student professor ratio here.

The Placements at Sindhi College have been quite strong with numerous students securing positions in top prior companies like Sutherland, Infosys, free lance as a Tour Operator and working at leading Travel Agencies like Wanderlust Mathura Travels etc., Eligibility for Campus Placements, are students become eligible for campus placements starting from sixth semester. Our College has a dedicated placement Cell that Co-ordinates with companies, organizes interviews , and provides career counseling. They also conduct orientation program for attending interviews traings and other personality enrichment activities for our benefits like conducting pre - placement training, including resume building workshops, mock interviews, and skill development programs for preparing as precautionary to avoid rejections in interviews. Average Students participate in the placement process by securing offers, depending on the batch. Over the past few years, our college has an increasing number of offers made, I thank our college for growing reputation and industry ties. The Average salary package ranges from rupees 3-5 lac per annum with most students being placed in roles such as Travel Consultants, Tourism Managers and Event Planners. My Future Plans: If I don't secure a placement through campus recruitment, I Plan to focus on building my career through internships and freelancing. I am particularly interested in sustainable tourism and may look for opportunities in eco-tourism companies and tourism boards. Additionally, I'm considering pursuing further studies, such as a Master's in Tourism Management or certifications in Digital Marketing for the Travel industry, to enhance my skill set and broaden my career prospects. A Hidden Story of Central University of Tamilnadu

I applied for the other colleges like Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and many other colleges and that colleges are quite old and they have some reputation and name of their academic background and their curriculum. I didn't get admission their because of my low marks as i am from general category and for general category the cutoff is very high and so that i had given the CUET exam that is common University Entrance Exam and that therough i got my college Central University of Tamilnadu. I didn't get any rejection from any other college i choosen this college. During my admission, the exam was CUCET. I had a score of 212. I got admission in the first allotment itself. I guess the cut-off was around 150 for general category students that year.
