- Campus environment was literally good calm atmosphere which helps you to settle down your mind
- Mix of people, as it's a central university there is a great bunch of students from various part of nation
- Library it was such a great place with lot of books to read
Dislikes
- Transportation - college is too far away from the town and less transport availability
- Mess food - it's not that worth and you will not be happy with it
- Climate is too hard summers are extreme and muddy roads during rainy season
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is structured in such a manner that doesn't need much high effort so it's there is a healthy balance in it. They are uptofated to a level but needs more practical input. Various elective courses are now offering by various departments also
Internships Opportunities
Placement cell of college shares various government, NGO as well as other internship opportunities. Along with this professors allows students to work under them for various government and other research activities.
Placement Experience
Federal bank is one of the frequent recruiter in the campus , they offer average package of 12 lpa and it's pretty good. Other placement are not that good. Researchzs the best option for CUTN students
Fees and Financial Aid
While I joined the course, I had to pay a sum of 10000 rupees which included admission fee, 1st sem fee and other deposits. Yes yearly there is an increase in free by 5%- 10%. Then coming to hostel fee, it was around 2000 while I join, but now it's around 3000
Campus Life
College is having a common multi purpose hall were usual college events happen.college also have some intellectual think and talking societies. Onam, Pongal, holi are the main events of the college. College is having annual sports meet as well as cultural fest
Hostel Facilities
College is having almost 8 hostels, 3 for boys 3 for girls and 2 for PhD students. Rooms in old boys hostel are spacious and 2 sharing. Other hostels having 3 and 4 sharing rooms. Mess is along with hostel Nd hostels are beautiful places where good memories are made
Admission
I choose cutn because of its affordability, the course fee as well hostel fee is too low and manageble for a middle class Indian family. Also it's diversity is a plus. Along with all these as it's south it was more convenient for me. Admission process is through cuet ug exam
Faculty
Faculties are were good, young as well as experienced professor's are there for each subject. Economics having around 8 - 11 professors who completed their degrees from UoH, JNU etc. As number of students are less compared to other places we are having a strong and healthy student professor ratio here.
