Course Curriculum Overview
BMS is a generalized course and since I was a bit confused as to what field I should go for, I went with this course to explore as much as I can. Faculty and student ratio is decent and the teachers are very helpful if you have a good impression infront of them otherwise they can be hard on you. You can pass exams if you study sincerely even a week before the exams.
Internships Opportunities
For internship there are literally 100s of companies that comes and almost for kinds of roles. But more for sales and marketing. If one have a specific interest in certain field than don't wait for college internships, go and find yourself in the company you like.
Placement Experience
After 5th semester students are eligible to seat placements. A bunch of companies like big4, Indxx, PSA, tresvista, etc came and in total around 75+ offers were given. 10lpa highest and 5 avg package. 40% placed in my course. My plan is to get work experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost to study is one of the lowest one can find but when it comes to Delhi University, it comes on slightly higher side. There are several scholarships that are provided by college, government and university level.
Campus Life
Kalrav is our annual fest and for BMS course the annual fest is Melange which is conducted in February. Our college has one the best library in the whole DU circuit, the library expands on 3 floors. Since our college building has been built very recently, the amenities are top notch, at par than private colleges. Badminton, table tennis, basketball and a small gym is available. There are hundreds of extra curricular activities that is organised. There are a lot of student run societies. 180DC, EDC, SRC, Enactus, TEDxDDUC, etc
Hostel Facilities
Personally if one can compramise being out late at night then the hostel is the best for you. You will get all minds of faculties over their. The boys hostel warden is very understanding (don't ask about girls hostel) and on top of it, you have bunch of extra curricular activities and trips only for hostellers
Admission
Now the admission happens through CUET but earlier in my time it used to happen through Dujat. The exam had a weightage of 65% and the rest was of class 12th board marks. There are usual reservation benefits except ECA which has been introduced now but did not exist earlier. Admission process have been made very smooth, before 2020 it was very difficult to apply, now everything is online.
