Likes

The placement is extremely satisfying giving high pay checks.
The fees is good for kcet students not too high or too low.
The atmosphere here is really good with helpful interaction.

Dislikes

The hostel isnt good at all high money is charged for no reason.
The faculty isnt responsive in classroom hence it's booring to sit in.
The merger of the college is too risky hence the cutoff has fallen.

The faculty members are strictly and are not very encouraging but if you reach out them personally then you can get their support and they would definitely help you in your work attendance is strictly monitored.

Yeh high internship opportunity are available its a mandatory rule to be an intern by final year to avail the credits and you can also work as in intern is our own collage startup most of the places stipend is provided.

The national institute of engineering mysore is known for uts world class placement offers i have myself seen my seniors getting very good package all the lines explained in official website is real about the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a few scholarship are which are available for all Karnataka students like ssp which gives u aid around 200000 but one has to satisfy the eligibility criteria based on their cast and income college will mail you details for eligibility.

Campus Life

The college is having good girl : boy ratio almost one on one so you get to make good friends and have a friendly Atmosphere. Library is spacious and well mentioned had almost all of the necessary books for engineering students. Sports is appreciated.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel isn't that good i wouldn't suggest you to join south hostel the fees paid is not valued you can easily live happily outside saving a lot of money. Food is bad and facilities aren't enough to live in.

Admission

The admission was through kcet exam it was a tough competitive exam one has to secure a good rank of About 10000 or lesser to get the college if you are from general category but based on your minority availed you can get it at Higher ranks too.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
