Knowledge amidst nature

Nowadays Microbiology is one of the most worthy subjects. As interesting as it is, as well as the national and international opportunity it gives one student is mind-blowing. The net strength of our department is 23. Most of our professors hold Ph.D. in their respective fields. With their great experience, they r the very best teachers n mentors I have ever seen. Their dedication, punctuality, discipline, and friendly gesture have blown away my mind. They always make sure to complete their syllabus accordingly. Term exams are mostly on time and the paper itself is not very difficult if u have been constant with ur studies.

I will say the fees are quite affordable as it is a full government college. Swami Vivekanand Scholarship is available here and the college will make sure no eligible student is missed out. Our students section is very active n u will get updates regularly.

Bidhannagar government college holds an annual fest besides our faculty fest ( named ViBrIOs.... As I am from microbiology). We have an active library which is available for all the students having a library card. U will find recent journals, newspapers, and books. U can even keep any books for 15 days if needed. The librarians are very kind. We have a large playground (with a basketball court). One can also join our cultural club here.

I didn't take any entrance exams. The whole process was online. I just had to visit the students' section for the final admission only. The fees were quite reasonable as it is a full government college. To get admission in Microbiology the required marks are quite high ( as most of us have above 92 percent in our hs). Anyone will find all the information and updates available on the official website. You have to keep a constant check on the college website as the time given for online admission is 1 to 2 days max. Missing out the date will lead to the cancelation of ur further admission.
