I liked the teachers of the college they are really good and skilled they are experienced and well educated.

There is a huge problem related to attendance as high attendance requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to do bcom honours on Accounting and finance. The facilities were just nice and faculties of college were good and skilled experienced we have to clear 2 exams per year called internal exam and paper were moderate

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 5500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were reasonable as it cost around 14,300 fee charged twice a year for each semester total we have to give fees 6 times in all 3 years which cost fluctuate among each semester and college also provides some scholarships but I didn't opt any scholarships

Campus Life

Fest also occurs throughout the year in college. The availability of books in college was not good as the books are of old editions there is rarely a book of the current edition and some writers were not available in the college Library there are some groups for each semester or each section.

Admission

My admission process was good I didn't take any entrance exam I just applied online on the college website and filled out the application form with the prescribed fee there was a a certain percentage cut-off and then selected by the list.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. A few companies like TCS visit our college every year. The average package offered is around 100000 PA I want to go for higher studies after the degree but I want some real life work experience too.

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
