SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Likes

The affordability and the quality of teachers. They were co-operative and lenient.

Dislikes

There was no such thing as a placement. All they did was give us the link for mass hiring of companies like TCS and Amazon for basic customer care role.
There was no internship oppurtunities at all.
There was no vocational training, case competitions and any such curricular activity.

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

The development of the college

Likes

The faculties of the college are really helpful. They helps the students in many ways in studying.
The faculties of the school has also provided online facility to us in WhatsApp. they guide us very well
The staff members of the college are really good they help us in many ways

Dislikes

The classrooms are really unorganised and dusty.
There are many cats in the college which harms the students many times.
There is lift facility in the college but the students can only use lift when they wants to go up they can't use lift when they want to go down

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is really nice. The average package is 2-3 lakhs and maximum package is 6 lakhs per annum. I am doing charted accountant. I have cleared foundation exams in first attempt. Right now i am in ca intermediate and doing classes of ca intermediate.

Helpful teachers and faculty in almost every department
The environment is very friendly and amiable.
The library is very good and well equipped.

The science laboratories should be more developed.

The curriculum is strictly the one that is followed by the University of Calcutta. Therefore students don't usually face problem during the university exams. There are also often internal exams arranged.

Likes

Experienced and supportive faculty members, Well structured Curriculum with a focus on practical learning.
Exciting Cultural festival and Events, Such as music Concert, Drama performance. Opportunities to attend seminars, webinars, workshops etc.
Convenient location and easy access to public transport, Safe and Secure Campus environments.

Dislikes

Outdated and poorly maintained Computer Labs.
Unhygienic Canteen area. Prices of packaged foods are too high from outsides.
Boring or Unengaging lectures by some faculty members.

Likes

The atmosphere and ambiences are amazing. The library is the most loved place for every student.
Teachers faculty is too good. They are helpful in need.
Their is no complaint and ragging issue or neither their is any union problem.

Dislikes

The students toilets are always dirty and in miserable conditions, except the ground floor.
Every department should be treated equally in case of excursions.
A strong bond between teachers and students is very much needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to crack a civil service examination for which I'm preparing myself from now onwards and it is the only reason for which I have chose this subject to pursue my career. There is one more reason, I want to know the political system of this modern and traditional world. I always wanted to learn about the world of politics and the scandals which the politicians use to do all the time.

My experience at Jaipuria college

Likes

the college is very clean and it is very neat
The college food is very cheap & affordable and tasty
The college library has very good books i love them

Dislikes

Sometimes few classes are skipped especially the last class
Some teachers come in class very late which causes us to miss lecture
There are no girls in evening college which makes it very boring.

My course is BCOM honours of accountancy which will give me real life experience of accounting & financial stuff. The college teaches me the curriculum very cleanly and clears all my doubt and it will help me greatly in my career.

A Glimpse of Jaipuria

Likes

Seniors are friendly and very helpful. They will interact with you and wont act rudely with you.
Teachers and faculty are Helpful and are very cool and teach in a way that interest students.
Security guards and other personnel will not shy away to help you or push you away and help you during any crisis.

Dislikes

The gymnasium is not well maintained and is often closed.
There is irregularity of classes with classes often being cancelled at a very short notice..
College washrooms are quite dirty and not maintained at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I found the economics curriculum pretty interesting which led me to choose this course as it will help me gain knowledge and prepare me on how the economy of my country and the entire world changes at any point and how its Improving or degrading depending on the situation. The timings of exams is okay and its manageable.

Library was quite good because we can find a large no of variety of book which was really helpful for preparation of exam
In our college there was a gym also so for those students who has gym freakers it was helpful so I really used to like it
Garden party of our college I really did like because in that place we used to play games with our classmates and friends

Dislikes

The canteen was not so good itvwas just ok ok because of the food taste and quality due to this we used to carry our own tiffin
We don't have lift on that time so whenever we need to go computer room we have to use stairs to reach 5th floor

Placement Experience:

We have placement cell in our college The placement cell used to organize campus placement in 3rd year of the college They prepare for us after that we used to sent the students for sit in the campus interview
