Ques. Does SAJC provide hostel facilities for students?
Ans. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College (SAJC) does not provide on-campus hostel facilities for its students. However, students coming from outside Kolkata can easily find accommodation in nearby private hostels, rented flats, and paying guest (PG) facilities located around the college campus. These accommodations are available at affordable rates and are well-connected by public transport. Students can choose based on budget, amenities, and proximity to the college, ensuring a comfortable stay during their academic journey.
Ques. Do I need to fill out a separate university form for SAJC admission?
Ans. No, students applying to SAJC do not need to fill out a separate form. Admissions are managed entirely through the university portal, where candidates can select SAJC for their chosen courses. This single application system ensures transparency and avoids duplication. All further processes, including merit lists and fee payments, are also handled exclusively through the university portal.
Ques. Do in-house students get admission preference at SAJC?
Ans. Yes, in-house students of SAJC are given preference during admissions. Students who have completed their junior college studies at SAJC are eligible for direct admission to the first year of B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com programs. This policy ensures continuity of education for SAJC students. However, for specialised programs or self-financed courses, in-house preference may not apply, and admissions will be based strictly on merit and seat availability through the university process.
