Remarks

Every class 12th pass can apply for it .we can get all the admission related information and notices on the college website only .yes there are reservations on caste basis .the level of difficulty in exams are good

I always wanted to do bcom so it was my choice. We get all the theory concepts and also in subjects like IT we get to go to the lab and get practical practice .exams are taken on sem basis and a good level of paper is set by them

Fees and Financial Aid

According to a government college it has a very feasible fees according to me and it is affordable for each and every student in my understanding.it gets all done roughly in a amount of 20000 only for a bcom student

Campus Life

We get many seminars , and aslo freshers get a freshers party and seniors are given farewell party .The. class rooms are breathable and good but are non AC so in summers one might feel hot but I'm winters its ok

Faculty

They are good but always talks in Bengali which might be a problem for those who don't understand Bengali and it will be difficult for them to get with the concepts taught in the class . Also some of them are very rude .

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. This college comes in top 10 colleges in Kolkata. This college is really good. The reputation of this college is really good. A Glimpse of Jaipuria
