Faculty is very good , teachers are so friendly and helpful.
College library is so peaceful and maintained decorum
Classrooms are near and cleaned with proper dustbins.

Dislikes

Washrooms are not good need improvement and proper sanitation
More benchs should pe provided in the classroom avcording to students.
Digital classroom should be provided in every classroom

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good faculty of the geography department. They give every note. You Don't need tuition for extra notes. Your doubts will be cleared in the class only. The practical part is also very good. Hod sir is very nice. I choose this course as I like geography the mother nature. The student ratio in our class is 21 students overall. Exams were taken timely.

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 1350 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are minimum. Cost friendly. It is charged per semester. The exam fees are there during the exam it's been asked during the exam form fillup. As it's a govt. college you can apply for svmcm scholarship I have applied for it. If you are a daily train passenger you will get a concession.

Campus Life

No such things are there. Yes, sometimes seminars are held. The availability of books is good. But there should be more stock for geo books. Extracurricular activities are performed as sports day and annual sports meet. No there are no such student groups.

Admission

I just filled in the college requirements, applied for an application, fill the form, and submitted it to the college website, later during the registration my original documents are verified with the submitted documents. No entrance exam was there in the year 2021. You will get the application form on the college website. Application fees are 1350.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. College is really close to railway station (2.2 km from Bidhannagar Junction), Low cost of fees, Good academics, Spacious, Green, Quiet environment ideal for studying. Only bad thing(according to my opinion) is the teachers are really strict. We can't bunk classes. We enter the college 10. 15 AM and leave at 4. 15PM. Sometimes this can be frustrating....Read More
