Very Good from every prospective.From education to refreshment, guiding new ideas to conquer the sports field, Heritage Institute Of Technology provides everything a student can expect. So in a single word if want to become a proper engineer, you can choose to study in heritage without any doubt in your mind.

Entrance Preview

Students with ranking of 1500-8000 in WBJEE are mostly eligible for admission process in B.tech. This may vary every year. Students can also get admission with JEE-MAIN rank. Interests in technology influenced me to get admission in Electrical Engineering stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

With the help of great faculty members it becomes more easy to understand things quickly. Coming to practical knowledge HITK is the right place where I can enlarge my skill in Labs. HITK also provides summer internship in Newjersy Institute of Technology which is a great opportunity for students.

Internships Opportunities

College provides training for 3rd year students with lower costs.Any other personal internships can be done by the students with the consent letter from college.

Placement Experience

Placement was satisfactory at very first. TCS came and placed around 320 students who has 60% overall marks throughout their academic carrier.Many more companies will visit the campus in the next semester.

Tech Fest Dakshh is the technical fest of college students and students from other colleges also take part. Exciting prizes for different competition winners are there.Annual Cultural Fest ECLECIA is one of the biggest fests in West Bengal.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per MAKAUT instruction the basic Course Fees for B.tech is structured effectively. Per semester it costs nearly 50,000 Rs.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarships to the students who has poor economical conditions with proper documentation. Students who has better marks are also eligible for tuition fee waver.

No, I am not residing in hostel. But there is a great residential facilities.

Exam Structure

The examination process is a standard culture which may be boring sometimes.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are well educated with M.tech degrees and various technical skills. Interaction with students improves Teacher-Student relationship which creates a good standard of learning things.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college.
