Bidhannagar college review

I choose this course because they were providing bsc. Course on Geography. The geography department here is one of the best departments in the college we have the best faculty professor who has also published their own book and read all over West Bengal. Teachers are highly qualified here sone also have Ph.D. Degree. Term exams are held twice & a student who studies well can pass out easily.

Yearly we have to pay 1300 course fees with an additional 500-900 exam fees which vary from course to course. There is no college scholarship as far as I know. But students after 12 can apply for the Swami Vivekanand scholarship given by the state government. There is no job placement from the campus.

Right now our college fest is on hold for 2 yrs. Books are available in the library. But books for the geography department are fewer compared to other departments. Our class is well equipped with furnished bench & desk. Cleanliness is all dependent on the students. Yearly inter-college football & cricket are held. All the other activities like earth day, holiday, Saraswati Puja, etc are held. There is no website I know about.

Admission process was all on online basis. We just had to fill in the college admission form online and the merit list was posted on specified date. If vacant seats were still available after the final merit list a portal for "show interest" was given for students taking admission. After taking admission final documents verification was done in college physically.
