the college campus is full of greenery which is a comfort to the eyes and the campus is very big.
teaching staffs are very good and friendly too.
there is not much political influence on students.

Dislikes

the college canteen is not upto the mark.
sometimes lab equipments are not available.
the college field is not being made available to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course of my knack for Biology faculty-student ratio is good. All teachers are Ph.D. holders and the teaching method is good. Term exams were conducted by the Board and it was taken on half yearly basis. it was very difficult to pass.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 1850 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fee structure is very much satisfactory but the exam fees are a little high. I could not avail any scholarship or financial assistance as my father is a government employee. There is no job on campus with a stipend.

Campus Life

No annual fest or tech fest is being conducted since COVID time. Books and journals are easily available in the library. No amenities in classrooms. Sports Competition is conducted annually. NCC is run by both students and teachers.

Admission

The student should have biology in a subject combination of 12th Standard. The college website provides information regarding the application form, fees, and dates. Reservation benefits are available but I didn't avail it. The number of available seats should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

Course curriculum is impressive as it includes all the importaint subjects of several entrace exams. On extra the college provides internships for real world problem solving. In case of Computer Science students are working at NIC, CU, IIEST, NIT Patna, IISC and many other as interns. All about my College

College is really close to railway station (2.2 km from Bidhannagar Junction), Low cost of fees, Good academics, Spacious, Green, Quiet environment ideal for studying. Only bad thing(according to my opinion) is the teachers are really strict. We can't bunk classes. We enter the college 10. 15 AM and leave at 4. 15PM. Sometimes this can be frustrating....Read More
