Entrance Preview

WBJEE - (WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM) was given by me . My rank was 2793 out of a lac applicants . I got into this college on the basis of my rank. I had to undergo a counselling session and my center was Jadavpur University. I have pursued Computer Science Engineering and presently i'm in my 2nd year. I'm interested in the IT world and thus I pursued the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quiet good. You get to learn a lot. The practical Knowledge is just great. we have tie ups with many foreign universities and recently the students went to NJIT(NEW JERSEY INSTITUTE IF TECHNOLOGY), for a research program.

Internships Opportunities

i dont think the college provides an internship. however there is an industrial training session at the end of the third year at the jadavpur university.

Placement Experience

the placements are sort of okay. TCS , MAPLINE , ALL-STATE are the companies that visit the college campus . the average package is around 4 lacs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quiet affordable. 45000 per semester. this includes the lab fee,the examination procecss , the council fee, sports arrangement and everything that the college permits.

The teachers are highly qualified and educated. Most of them have done their PhD in the respective subjects . They are interactive with the students and helps them gather knowledge with theor full potential.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself .
