Campus is very small not provided any sitting facilities
They had not provided any sitting area for parents or student
Professors are very strict , u can't get easily u have to do lots of hard work for getting 1 marks

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen production and Industrial engineering because I am interested in management. Here the student-faculty ratio is good. Exams are timely done and very difficult to pass. The quality of the faculties and teaching method is good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 83000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7 th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Last year 400+ companies visited our college. Last year's highest package was 80 lpa and the average package is 14.72. Mostly 100% of placement is done in NIT Jamshedpur. Sometimes it goes 98% but almost all students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Now I am not getting any scholarship but I applied for e Kalyan. By taking a loan we can pay the fees of our college. Fees of the national institute of Technology Jamshedpur are affordable for students. Family Income less than 1 lakh gets scholarships.

Campus Life

Here many technical clubs like Phoenix, Revanta, rays, Daksh, drift, ecoriders are run by students. Many cultural clubs are also here. Phocus for photography, Rooh for singing, Beatbrakers for dancing, and Awahan for dramatic. There is a library on the campus with good stocks of books.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities given to us are good. Mess makers make good food which is good for our health. The registration process for our hostel is not much hard. All day maid come to wash all surface and we should not wash own plate.

Hostel Fee: INR 7500 per year

Admission

In the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur some processes should be online in admission time. The eligibility is JEE Mains rank. Should increase staff for admission. And institute should give reporting time to one branch in one day not more than one.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
