Likes

One of the main thing that i liked in the college is library, it has a vast selection of books in variety of departments
The infrastructure of the college is absolutely stunning the creamy colour texture is so aesthetic and its a different vibe
The food menu in the canteen. It has variety of food with affordable price

Dislikes

First of all some of the faculty are taking lectures in hindi, it is very hard to understand the lectures
I think there is no ground and facilities for cricket that is another factor that i disliked about the college
Majority of the classrooms was not digitalized

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love to study PCM subject combination. The faculties are great their teaching style was different from where I studied in my 12th so I faced some difficulties at first, the student ratio in my course is 15:1. The qualification of faculties is incredible some of them are Ph.D. holders and some of them completed their pg from top-class universities around the world. The exams are likely simple to pass and the exam is conducted every 5 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is 19000 inr and the other cost is the living cost, most of the students studying in my college are coming from other states so they are likely to stay on pg or rent a room. Actually, I didn't apply for any kind of scholarship but there are some scholarships for students who are facing difficulties by financially.

Campus Life

The fests in DU are absolutely Fantastic no words about that Bollywood singers, and actors will be there in some fest. My college has one of the libraries at the University of Delhi. There were a vast collection of many kinds of books and a very calm library with high-speed wifi. Most of the classrooms are average some of them are digitalized. The sports activities in the college are archery, football, table tennis, etc. There were many social groups and clubs run by students in the college one of the clubs in the college is sharpshooterdbc the photography club of the college.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to study PCM subject combination in your 12th grade and appear on the cuet exam with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as domain subjects. We can find the application form in csas portal and the application fee was only 400 INR, the application dates may vary depending on the university. I got the seat under OBC reservation, about 27% of seats are reserved for the OBC quota. The admission process online was perfect but the documentation process in the college was average.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
