My college experience

college don't provide any facilities for students, worst hospitality, teaching is not so bad.

I have wrote PGCET,I joined oxford college of engineering through pgcet .I got 10,000 rank in pgcet.There was no interview process while joining this college. I was interested in Network Communication so this made me to choose "Digital Communication Network"

The course was Average but the syllabus was outdated. There is no much practical learning, and even teacher don't give any practical knowledge about the course. We have a "Research and Development Centre" in Electronic& Communication department. In which, work on photonic Crystals. And the teachers are co-operative.

College do not provide any internship.We should only find the internship and do it.still now I have not done any internship ,so I don't have more experience about internship

I don't know much about placement for mtech, but there is a lots of campus drive for B.E students.very less companies come for placement for our department.i dono much about placements in our college,but very less numbers of students placed in some of the IT companies

Our college don't have more fest and cultural events.Some of the technical events are orgainzed in our college.we had IEEE national conference in our college,in mtech we have very less technical events.All the teachers and coordinates organized IEEE national conference very well,so it was good.

It was affordable for us. The pgcet fees was Rs.62,000, and my college fees was Rs.20,000. Totally I paid Rs.82,000. It was affordable for me because management students have to pay around 1.85 Lakh. The fees Include Internet Fees, Library Fees, etc... but they don't give internet facilities.

I dono much about scholarship,college do not provide any scholarship.college help in getting education loans through banks.I don't have details about scholarship and loans as I have not applied for it

No, I am not residing in Hostel, But my friends reside in Hostel. So I know about the hostel rooms, There are no single rooms. The Hostel rooms are shared. They have a study table to study. They don't have any UPS facility, so there is no current during power cuts. Students will not be able to study during power cuts in the evening or midnight.

The exams are very tiring. They were tough and time was very less. Lab exams are also very tiring. But they do make us pass in Lab. Since the lab equipment are not good, we rarely get accurate results, and sometimes we wont even get output. Hence it was not a Chill Culture for me.

Some of the Faculties have qualification in M. Tech and Ph.D, and all faculties have 2 years of Experience. All faculties teach us well, but they don't give any practical knowledge about the course. They are very less Interactive. But do help when needed.
