placement are pretty nice in our college
course that is being taught is just same as IITs follow so the content we get is also cool
the tech fest is also nice the competition are also held in our college that is also cool

Dislikes

the campus is small in size but new wing are in development phase
The faculty is very strict when it comes to the assignment.
The administrative cell is so slow in working

Course Curriculum Overview

The CSE stream is nice. The faculty is also very good and highly educated. in our CSE department, 10 teachers teach different subjects during the whole course. We have floors for each department. The class strength is almost 70 and teachers are good with the students. The burden on CSE students is as usual like in every college. The curriculum we follow is much similar to the IITs. Exams are moderate level, there are 2 sessionals(optional highest marks in either is considered) and then final exams.

Passing the 6th semester the placements start for the final year students and go till the next Feb almost 6 companies visit the college. our cse placements almost 95% of the students who opt for higher studies do not join placements rest are placed. the companies like resec, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Gemini, utrade, Frontera, etc. come and package in CSE was 5.5 lakhs. I have opted for gate and pursued Mtech rather

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are the lowest I think from other engineering colleges. The semester from Jan -June cost 28000 and the other semester cost 32000 with a total of around 60000 for a day scholar and or hostellers which increases to 80000. the whole engineering is done in only 2.5 lakhs only. there are scholarships for the ews category students and class toppers also. for the class's first 3 toppers the whole tuition fee is refunded at the end of the course and for the next top three 50% tuition fee is refunded.

Campus Life

Apratim the college fest is good happens in October or November. There are many clubs in the college to join and a sports facility, the library is full of books we have to search in the computer for the location of the book.

Admission

For Entrance, Students must give JEE mains a score rank at most 75000 for getting computer science. for other branches, it goes till 3 lakhs rank in jee mains. Then there is special counseling for Chandigarh colleges named JAC in which colleges of only Chandigarh take part. I filled out forms for JAC and in the first round only I got computer science. in Chandigarh, there are 3 categories only i.e. SC, ST, and OPEN. I was under the open category. the admission process is pretty fine no such rush. But documents are verified thoroughly.

- from sixth semester, some seniors have received the PPOs - companies like apple,bmw,mahindra,paytm, hire -%placement is not that good, its 55-60% for mechanical and 85-90% for CSE -highest is 60-65lpa as latest and average is 12-13lpa -plans are getting a placement , if not, i will do mtech from abroad

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by the college and Good offers are made by the companies. Like in cse , ece and ee have good placements but in lower branch percentage placements is a bit lower, but overall average and median package is good ( 70%) Highest placement was 61 lpa of 2025 median was 13 lpa.

Placement Experience:

placement stats of my college is great. Better than most of the colleges out there . Even better than many NITs and IIITs , with an avg package of 14-16 LPA . And every year the Median and Avg package is increasing . Highest package till now - 83 LPA . Students are allowed for campus placements after 5th semister All the big companies out there , from Google , microsoft , amazon to Delloete , JP Morgan , AmericanExpress , to seimens, oracle , L&T , all companies come here . around 70-75% students gets placed from here My plan is to get the highest paying job offer possible for me , that's it .

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC life in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. Better college for 50k rank in mains

For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
